The Administration of Federal service in veterinary and phytosanitary inspectors in Tomsk oblast fulfils the control and inspectors functions in the field of veterinary science, quarantine and plant protection in using pesticides and agrochemicals, ensuring soil fertility, seed-growing of agricultural plants, protection, reproduction, using the objects of fauna, related to the objects of hunting, water biological resources and its habitat and also the functions of the protection of population from the diseases common for people and animals on the territory of Tomsk oblast.
The administration is presented in 8 departments:
- The department of veterinary inspectors
- The department of hunting inspectors
- The department of fishing inspectors
- The department of inspectors in the field of plants and seed-growing quarantine
- The department of inspectors in the field of plant protection and agro chemistry
- The organizational-legal department
- The financial-economic department
- The administrative- economic department
The specialists of the Administration are in all regions.
The Administration of Rosselhoznadzor in Tomsk region coordinates and organizes the work with other Federal and regional structures. So, in April the plan of joint measures for 2005 - 2006 between the Administration of Rosselhoznadzor in Tomsk oblast and UVD of Tomsk region is confirmed.
Today the agreement of interaction and collaboration with the Department of natural resources and the environmental protection of the Administration of Tomsk oblast, Tomsk Customs, the Department of natural resources and the environmental protection of the Administration of Tomsk oblast, the Department APK, the Administration of the veterinary of Tomsk oblast is signed.
